Cheat, also known as “Bluff,” “I Doubt It,” or “BS,” is a fun and deceptive card game for 3 or more players, played with a standard 52-card deck. The objective is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards by playing them face down and stating their rank out loud—truthfully or not.
Players take turns playing cards in ascending rank, starting with Aces. Each turn, a player announces the rank of the cards they are playing (e.g., “two Queens”), but they can lie about what they put down. Other players can challenge the honesty of the play by calling “Cheat!” If the claim is false, the player must pick up the pile of cards. If the claim is true, the challenger takes the pile.
Cheat is a lively game of strategy, bluffing, and reading opponents, making it a favorite for parties and casual gatherings.
